iVenture Accelerator
NEW WEBSITE EXPERIENCE
Working as a freelance designer, I had the opportunity to work on a project for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The task was to help design a brand-new website experience for the iVenture Accelerator. To make sure that students are able to navigate the website smoothly and understand the large amounts of information, the design would need to present itself as engaging yet simple.
The iVenture Accelerator enables student-led startups to create economic and social value by supporting student entrepreneurs with knowledge, funding, and access to world-class University of Illinois resources and alumni.
By utilizing UIUC branding, the new website design allows for student users to have a more familiar feeling with the elements they interact with while going through the different pages.
Below are sketches and wireframes for various layouts that combine text and imagery. Information regarding the iVenture Accelerator was extensive, so it was important to properly organize the information architecture in such a way so that users are able to comprehend what they see in front of them.
